Intellectually I know it's silly to be offended by such a silly oversight. However, in all honesty, it's sending a message about what value Mattel/Fisher-Price places on my little girls. In fact, they state it blatantly in their product description:
The Avatar Basic Figure Assortment brings the key Avatar characters to life and allows boys to enter into the fantasy world of the Avatar. The characters in the assortment range in height from 5.25" to 6.0" and feature a high degree of articulation, vital accessories, and included weaponry. What message does THAT send to all the little girls in America? That Mattel/Fisher-Price doesn't want their business?
